Lucas Conley on the Colbert Report

5 August 2008 No Comment

Last month, Lucas Conley’s ‘Obsessive Branding Disorder‘ hit the shelves. Recently, he was invited to talk about it on the Colbert Report.  In between the jokes and silliness Conley actually manages to make some very good points.

One of the things he says is that brands are desperate for our attention. But they are going the wrong way about it. According to Conley companies need to focus more on innovation, customer service and actually good products, and not Playdo aftershave!

I couldn’t agree more!
